Mechanical Engineer

SciPro have partnered with an advanced imaging, Medical Device company based in Paris that is looking to add an experienced Medical Mechanical Engineer to its team. They have developed an innovative technology that will revolutionize the way endoscopy procedures are used, thereby increasing the quality of patient outcomes during surgery worldwide.
As their latest engineer, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to define, prototype, verify, and integrate the mechanical or electromechanical components of the system. In this role, you will produce technical solutions, considering all aspects of a medical device, including compliance with standards, specifications and constraints, delivering in line with budget and deadline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support improvement and integration projects of the mechanical components
- Establish specifications, plans, verification protocols, purchasing specifications
- Design, model, prototype, test and industrialize mechanical components, in collaboration with external and internal resources.
- Conduct DFMEA on critical components, participate in risk management (ISO 14971) and usability (IEC 62366).
- Point of contact for the PLM software
