We are excited to partner with one of the top Vaccine R&D teams in the world. As a leader in using mRNA technologies to bring life-saving vaccines to the world, you will be supporting their vaccine clinical development by performing molecular diagnostic assays. As an Associate Scientist you will be responsible for performing manual and/or robotic molecular diagnostic assays, such as PCR, and support other laboratory activities such as preparation of buffers, media, qualification of assay reagents, and support the qualification and validation of assays.
Perform various molecular diagnostic assays in accordance with established protocols, promptly as a part of the development and clinical study throughput.
Work with documentation for laboratory work such as data organization/review
Train, or assist in the training of other new scientist on the test method(s)
Laboratory management stock supplies and reagents needed for daily lab operations
Present experimental results to the wider group
BS in a relevant field of science (immunology, bacteriology, microbiology, biology, etc) and 0-2 years of experience
Team skills (feedback, consensus management)
Foundation in general scientific practice and principles
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and relevant scientific software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
