Leadership opportunity with Innovative Oncology Startup in the heart of Seattle!

A highly-innovative, clinical-stage biotech is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing, Analytical & Bioanalytical Development, and Quality Control with experience leading the whole lifecycle of development and manufacturing biologics from Process Development to Commercialization. The VP is regarded a subject matter expert within the Protein Sciences group, and will lead a team of direct and dotted line reports with responsibilities in process development, manufacturing and supply chain, analytical and bioanalytical development, and CMC/quality control.

This role will work closely with the CSO, CMO, and CEO to develop strategic operating plans for the company and manage the budgeting and execution of projects as a member of the executive team.Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Directing the delivery of project milestones, including processes and assays required for clinical production, GMP manufacturing, and support of regulatory filings

  • Leading process, analytical, and formulation development and overseeing technical development activities

  • Overseeing outsourced manufacturing teams and leading contract negotiations for outside service providers

  • Promoting innovation and continuous improvement from development through commercialization

  • Developing quality systems and infrastructure for product development in compliance with GMP, GLP, and GCP requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, microbiology, or related field(MS or PhD is preferred but not required). Experience with Large Molecule Process Development and Manufacturing is required, Antibody/Bispecific products preferred. Preferred Candidates will have worked with Oncology, Immunology, and/or Anti-inflammatory therapeutics.
