This article caught my attention somewhat, as a couple of the points really resonated with me following some recent meetings with my clients.
One of the reasons I really enjoy working in this industry is the opportunity I have to work alongside a number companies that are working on some incredibly sophisticated and cutting edge medical devices, drugs and medicines that are constantly evolving to improve peoples lives. Every year we see more and more biotech firms born and I am sure 2017 will be no different. I for one cant wait to see what this ever evolving industry produces.
Another trend that is set to continue moving in to 2017 is having key female figures in key positions. With Emma Walmsley taking over the top job at GSK and a number of smaller Biotech's following suit with female leadership.
