The Opportunity
We are currently looking to hire a dedicated and qualified LC/MS Bioanalytical Scientist to join the bioanalysis group, where they will assist the small molecule and biomarker analysis team. They will work closely with biomarker analysts, translational pharmacologists and be expected to advance LC/MS methods as well as process metabolites, invitro and vivo samples.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform and carryout LC-MS/MS assays; conduct assay maintenance testing of LC-MS/MS methods
Execute bioanalysis of biomarkers and small molecules in a wide array of biological matrices such as urine, tissue, plasma, and CSF
Analyze and interpret scientific publications, reports, reviews and data produced from CROs and be able to effectively present bio analysis results to peers, managers, scientists, and project teams
Collaborate with BA and TP scientist to develop assays to assist in vitro PK and ADME studies
Examine novel biotherapeutic analytes to develop different MS methods and analyze results for oligonucleotides and proteins
Desired qualifications:
Ph.D in Pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, analytical chemistry or science related field. OR BS/MS with at least 3-5 years of industry relevant experience including previous experience in LC-MS/MS Bioanalysis
Knowledgeable and confident in quantitative bioanalytical principles, experience with GCP/GLP regulated assay highly preferred
Superb communication and presentation skills orally and virtually
Experience with various sample prep techniques (EX: SPE, liquid-liquid extraction, protein precipitation) in addition to experience operating triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers.
Able to effectively collaborate with scientists and other personnel during cross functional projects
