Executive Director, RWE & Epidemiologyl Delaware (Hybrid 3-4 days on-site) | Offer Relocation Package
SciPro is leading an Executive search for an Executive Director, Epidemiology & RWE for a Pharma company in Delaware. They are recognized across the globe for their consistency and ongoing clinical trials in dozens of disease areas and a robust portfolio of treatments. They have 7 approved products in the market and ongoing clinical trials in dozens of disease areas, with a focus in Oncology and Autoimmune.
The Global Epidemiology group is responsible for leading and planning outcomes research and RWE activities for pipeline and in-line molecules including the design and implementation of retrospective database studies, assessment of PROs, and conduct of epidemiological studies. This role reports into the EVP of Global Product Strategy and you will spearhead the Global Epi and RWE function of the organization. You will manage a group of 11 individuals, with plans to continue growing the team and will be successful in this role with the following experience:
Advanced degree in relevant field (i.e. Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, Biostatistics, etc.)
10+ leadership responsibilities and demonstrated ability to manage a relatively larger group
i.e. the group this person will be managing are 4 in Global Epi (Senior Director, 3 Associate Directors), 3 in RWE Biostats (Senior Director, Director and Associate Director), and 5 in RWE Programming (Associate Director, Senior Manager and 3 contractor)
Direct interactions with regulatory bodies (FDA, EMA) and ability to lead discussions around Epidemiology, Clinical Outcomes, Patient Outcomes, new tool development, etc.
Extensive RWE Generation experience, preferably in Oncology for Autoimmune
Understanding of both US and ex-US healthcare and pharmaceutical industry and different data sources.
Demonstrated research accomplishment (e.g. publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at scientific conferences) expected.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work well independently as well as across organizational teams.
They are based in DE and have a company wide policy to work on-site 3-4 days a week, therefore need someone in the area and offer a "high priority" relocation package to anyone needing to move for the role.
