Head Clinical Development - Biotech (Based Europe)

A new biotechnology company is currently looking to recruit a Head of Global Clinical Development to steer and lead the pipeline of clinical programs across the company. This role will suite a Medical Doctor with a background of Clinical Development looking to progress early phase trials into a full product cycle or alternatively someone looking to support specialise in the early phase development of numerous new therapeutics.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Regulatory Strategy and interactions with EMA, FDA, and other global healthcare bodies.
- Overseeing the clinical data analytics and interpretation for internal and external reporting
- Provide both support and coaching for Clinical Trials for internal stakeholders and the management team to be able to communicate clinical aspects of the overall corporate strategy
- Represent the programmes and the company to external audiences, including the medical community, investment, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee all clinical operations and medical affairs, including recruitment, growth and international team.

To be eligible to apply you must have the following:
- Previously managed clinical development across both Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations
- Hold relevant Medical qualification to be able to be responsible for patient safety and medical sign off.
- Knowledge of FDA and EMA regulations and guidelines for ICH and GCP.
- Excellent communication skills
- 12+ years of clinical practice and pharmaceutical industry as a sponsor on investigational new drugs.
