My pharmaceutical client based in Basel is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and diligent Head of Validation. Essential skills:

- Degree level in a scientific area

- Experienced in the pharmaceutical industry (10 years +)

- QA, Qualification

- SOP

- GMP

- Drive to continuous improvement

- Leadership skills

- Customer handling

Responsibilities:

- Day to day management of the Validation Team

- Review, develop and improve current validations and ensure all processes

- Support the implementation of a Quality and Compliance Excellence program

- Ensure all validations and revalidation requirements are identified and implemented

- Maintain SOPs

- Participate in the development and achievement of Validations KPI's

- Working with Customers to meet Validation objectives

- Prioritise workload/resource using appropriate systems and information to ensure validations are performed effectively

- Provide effective membership of the Quality Validation team

- Act as a leader to teams to drive continuous improvement through effective leadership
