Key Responsibilities/Principle Accountabilities

• Overarching theme: The challenge of providing excellent scientific and medical management in customer service, medical information and marketing activities
• Provide rapid solutions to scientific and medical enquiries from a range of stakeholders internal and external whilst ensuring they are balanced and underpinned by scientific literature
• Assist the Medical Information Manager to ensure that promotional materials meet high standard of copy approval with ABPI (PMCPA) and PAGB advertising codes of practice
• Final Sign off of materials falling under the ABPI codes
• To engage and influence the trade association (PAGB)
• Will require the ability for critical thinking, influencing and negotiating
• To use existing skills, experience to complete research and source evidence to answer enquiries from healthcare professionals and to support scientific medical activities
• Provide technical input into sales and marketing campaigns
• Act as knowledge expert for specific products and therapeutic areas ensuring ease of access for stakeholders
• Accountable to the Medical Information Manager for delivery of quality scientific and medical information

About You

• ABPI Final Signatory experience desirable
• Sound knowledge of the PAGB, PMCPA/ABPI and IPHA promotional codes of practice
• Experience in copy approvals of promotional and non-promotional materials
• Previous experience in managing information systems, literature searching
• Ability to write scientific reports, publications e.g. experience through a MSc or PhD
• Previous experience of working in a pharmaceutical/healthcare company - essential
