Quality Engineer (Consultant) in der Schweiz

Your Responsibilities

• Execute project for costumers independently (usually on customer's site) regarding Quality Engineering and commercialization activities for medical devices and combination products
• Definition and implementation of state-of-the-art efficient & effective quality processes, with involvement of all stakeholders at customer incl. training and coaching on the processes
• Quality representative within international project teams (device development, equipment engineering, logistics and external vendors)
• Operational support in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Including cultural change in customer's organization towards operational excellence mindset (six sigma, agile methods)
• Problem solving and solution finding with right balance between quality, compliance, and business needs
• Advice and consult customer (take indirect leadership as appropriate)

Your skills and experiences

• At least 5 years' experience in quality engineering in the MedTech or in-vitro diagnostic industry, ideally at a manufacturer, including experience in quality management, lean management, six sigma and agile methods
• Education in engineering or natural science, at least Master of Science (MSc)
• Independent & self-organized
• Systematic & analytical thinking, process oriented and risk based
• Hands-on attitude
• Strong decision maker, takes the lead where appropriate and necessary
• Ability to gain the trust of various stakeholders, from shop floor to management
• Fluent in English and German
