Senior Data Engineer in a Drug Discovery Biotech - Stevenage/Edinburgh - Hybrid
The creators of the worlds best selling drug are looking to expand their established, innovative data department. The Biotech are collaborating with innovative biopharmaceutical companies to academic organisations from across the globe in pursuit to promote progress of the typically slow drug discovery process. Due to their consistent and sustained growth, we are looking to add an experienced individual to add value to a variety of drug discovery projects. An opportunity to have truly life changing impact.
We are actively recruiting for a senior data engineer. An individual ready to have immediate impact and is comfortable to mentor a junior member of the team. You will have the opportunity to progress towards a management role or a lead individual contributor. A unique position where you will gain industry experience whilst still progress with your own development. You will be a senior data engineer working on a diverse range of drug discovery projects with a wide variety of datasets. Working alongside data scientists to help find new drug candidates.
To be the right fit for this role you will be the following:
- Experience working in the drug discovery industry/ research environment
- Experienced within SQL, Linux, Python
- Able to commute 2/3 days onsite in either Edinburgh or Stevenage
This position is looking to pay up to £65,000 (depending on experience) and can be based in either Stevenage or Edinburgh!
