Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist (m/f)


My client located in Munich is searching for a highly experienced Pharmacovigilance/ Drug Safety professional to take on a senior position within their company. The Role:

  • The preparation of incoming reports of adverse events in the areas of spontaneous, non-interventional studies, registers, literature, social media
  • Correct and complete forwarding of adverse events to Global Safety or to contractual partners
  • Compilation of further information on reporting adverse events
  • Review of national reports of adverse events recorded by the Data Management Centres, and the independent initiation of necessary corrections
  • Independent processing and answering case-specific queries from Global Safety or contract partners in English
  • Translation of safety-relevant information from English to German
  • Participate in the introduction of risk minimization measures in local terms
  • Participate in audits
  • Support with training

Your Profile:

  • Studies in a relevant field in the area of medicine or pharmacy
  • At least 5 years experience in pharmacovigilance
  • Sound knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines, with both German and European legislations
  • Ability to prioritize is a must
  • Independent approach to work with an ability to problem solve
  • Ability to communicate between departments and offer sound advice
  • Experience of medical documentation databases in a medical environment
  • Fluent in both German and English written and spoken
