Senior Scientist - Bioinformatics, In-silico modeling (Belgium)

A fast-growing biotech company focusing on developing new therapies for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases is looking for an experienced hands-on bioinformatics scientist to join their team in Belgium

Key Responsibilities:

• Working hand in hand with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the project
• Performs scientific research on RNA sequence optimization
• Perform data-driven DNA/RNA modelling tasks
• Support the production and QC teams with eh high throughput analytics and cloning platform

About you:

• A go-to person for anything related to NGS data analysis and in silico engineering
• Good communicator with eagerness to explore and learn more
• Passionate about new technology and methods

Essential experience:

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or Computational Chemistry or relevant
• In silico engineering experience
• NGS Data analysis experience
• Experience with RNA Sequence optimization and software
• Experience in Machine Learning/AI is a plus
