Senior Scientist Computational Biology
A fast-growing Cambridge based biotech specializing in the cell coding is currently looking for an experienced Senior Scientist Computational Biology. As a Sr Scientist you will be responsible for leading and executing various research programs for uncovering core transcription factor programs that define human cell types as well as leading a team of junior scientists and ensure the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing new research ideas with the scientific, business and leadership teams
* Working collaboratively with experimental and computational biologists and leading projects
* Delivering multidisciplinary research programs
* Develop and maintain internal infrastructure
* Providing scientific and technical expertise
* Actively contributing to proposals, meetings, publications and business development
About you:
* A team player and able to work under pressure
* Enjoy tackling research challenges through critical thinking
* Strong biological knowledge and interest
Essential experience:
* Experience with RNA Sequencing
* 4+ post doc experience
* Deep background & experience in mammalian functional genomics (especially transcriptomics & epigenomics).
* Minimum 4 years doing primarily Computational Biology
* Strong computational fundamentals including Machine Learning, algorithms, and data structures
* Proficiency in R and/or python
* Experience in version control
* Experience in data analysis of programmed human pluripotent stem cells and/or products of mammalian cell genetic engineering (CRISPR, lentiviral vectors)
* Knowledge of up-to-date molecular biology techniques, haematology and/or immunology
