A leading UK manufacturer of pharmaceutical and healthcare products are actively seeking a prestigious vacancy within their firm, a Site Head to lead the staff and operations of the 150 person facility.
This role is first and foremost a leadership position. Sitting in a highly visible position you will be the figure head for many of the larger strategic objectives, and will be tasked with the setting, management and driving of both core operational and quality objectives, as well as cultural changes and ensuring succession planning through the development and training of key personnel to the business.
Within the day-to-day, you will hold direct leadership for the manufacture, engineering, warehousing and production planning activities on site. It is of course imperative that products are not only manufactured to the highest possible quality standards, but they should be on time and in alignment with pre-determined KPI's and business metrics.
The world has been looking to the pharmaceutical industry this year, and innovation has underpinned some of the major breakthroughs in science and manufacturing. With a forward thinking philosophy, the company are constantly looking to the future, keen to identify opportunities presented from technical advancements in order to streamline their operations and improve output ratios. With both budgetary responsibility as well as plant life cycle management duties, your role will be vital in identifying innovative plant and processes on the site.
The key attribute for success in this role is a proven track record of leadership and people management & development, within a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. While this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to increase their job role and stretch themselves, you should already have managed multiple departments and have lead numerous functions of a site. You will have excellent technical knowledge, comprehensive understanding of GMP and GDP and have demonstratable experience in financial control.
