Vice President Analytical Development

This is an opportunity to work the most innovative Biotechs thriving in the San Francisco Bay Area right now. They are actively seeking a VP level expert in Analytical Development to lead their Operations and Analytical Development sectors throughout entire Drug Lifecycle from early phase through to Commercialization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for global strategy related to Analytical Development & Operations starting from Early Phase all the way through to Commercialization of their product(s)
  • Author relevant documentation for Regulatory filings and approvals
  • Lead a global team across multiple functions throughout CMC process
  • Collaborate daily with but not limited to Quality, Regulatory, Program Management and DMPK to ensure goals are met and timelines are kept to
  • Manage CDMO Qualification and Management processes

 

Requirements

  • 20+ Years’ of Analytical Development Experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech area
  • Experience in Commercial Launch of Products including Regulatory Filings
  • Deep Background in P&L Responsibilities, managing cross-functional teams and developing long-term strategy
  • Minimum Master’s Degree in field of Life Sciences

We are supporting them on their search for a Group Quality Manager with a focus on leadership and support to Quality Managers across the Group. Role Tasks:Provide leadership and support to Quality Managers across the whole Group.Co-ordinate the development, implementation, monitoring and measurement of the QMS to satisfy relevant Company and regulatory requirements. Identify and champion the harmonisation of key Quality systems and processes across the Group to deliver efficient and robust Group wide processes. Management Representative for the business. In conjunction with the Quality Managers within the Group, responsibility for planning all aspects of the Management Review process including scheduling meetings, setting the agenda and ensuring preparation and distribution of meeting minutes to Senior Management. Work with cross-functional teams to effectively create and support process enhancement initiatives to create and maintain an environment of excellence and continuous improvement by acting as chair and facilitator for the Group Quality Assurance meetings. Ensure self and Group Quality department are trained in all Health and Safety procedures and that all accidents are reported. Skills / Knowledge /Experience:Significant experience gained from working in a Pharmaceutical environment.Many years in various management roles within QA.Successful multi-disciplinary projects to deliver business benefit and/or QMS enhancements Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and influence senior members of staff to ensure robust and reliable systems are in place. Successful preparation and involvement with regulatory inspections/audits including MHRA and Medical Device Notified Bodies.
