Medical Affairs Manager 

Overview
Global healthcare company seeking a Medical Affairs professional to support ophthalmology products across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and vision care. The role involves scientific leadership, stakeholder engagement, evidence generation, and cross-functional medical support across regional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead medical affairs activities for ophthalmology products.
• Support real-world evidence and investigator-initiated research projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Organize and facilitate advisory boards, scientific meetings, and training programs.
• Provide medical and scientific input to cross-functional teams.
• Review scientific literature and assess relevance for product strategy.
• Deliver medical presentations and support conference participation.
• Review promotional materials for scientific and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to medical writing activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in Medical Affairs; ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical research, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear messages.
• Fluent English and German.
• Willingness to travel regularly (up to 50%).
