Join a growing biotechnology organization in a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing economic modeling strategy across a portfolio of innovative therapies. This position will drive evidence generation efforts that support market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration globally.

While strong technical modeling experince is essential, this role is primarily focused on driving the overall modeling vision, influencing evidence generation strategy, and ensuring models are designed to support optimal market access and reimbursement outcomes. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, providing strategic oversight of model development while remaining hands-on when rapid analyses or exploratory assessments are needed.

This is a highly visible leadership position offering the chance to make a significant impact on access strategy across multiple indications as the organization advances toward key commercialization milestones.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead economic modeling strategy, including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and value assessment models.
  • Oversee model development and provide strategic guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Support global market access, payer, and health technology assessment (HTA) objectives.
  • Guide the use of clinical and real-world evidence, including comparative effectiveness and evidence synthesis methodologies.
  • Establish modeling standards, governance, and best practices while monitoring evolving payer and HTA requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and represent the organization in external scientific and industry forums.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related quantitative field.
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting environments focused on health economic modeling.
  • Hands-on expertise with cost-effectiveness and budget impact models; experience with indirect treatment comparisons and evidence synthesis preferred.
  • Experience supporting payer, reimbursement, and HTA submissions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a matrixed global organization.
